The trio setup gives them the freedom they need, but also an important task in playing together. Their musical inspiration comes from a complex source: they are influenced by the great masters of post-bop and avant-garde jazz, contemporary jazz musicians, late 20th century pop and hip-hop artists, as well as authentic Hungarian folk music. Using all of these, they strive to create unique sounds that are far from the usual on their instruments, mixing genres and pushing boundaries. In their concerts they play their own compositions, searching for new musical paths on the borderland of written and improvised music. The orchestra is the professional winner of the Müpa Jazz Showcase 2024. Dominik Kosztolánszki, aka Dom Beats, another young representative of the Hungarian underground and jazz scene, will be their guest this evening.
