Y-Otis (SE / UK)

The core and driving force behind Y-Otis is Sandsjö and Petter Eldh, who, together with other musicians and recording producers, have already released three albums on the renowned We Jazz Records. Their sound can best be described as audio-music, with its shifting soundscapes inspired by hip-hop, electronic music and jazz. The hypnotic riffs of the saxophone and the fragmented jazz style fuse powerful melodies and funky beats in a way that keeps the music malleable and doesn't fall over the edge into the avant-garde, even when experimenting fiercely.
