Schedule
Formed in the basements of Berlin by impro musicians, this Japanese-Finnish-Luxembourg-Hungarian quartet has undergone a poetic transformation over the past few years. Joined by Soharóza singers and other musicians, they have moved to the roof of a barn to create their avant-garde ritual show. In the presence of the cows, horses and chats that roam the farm, they recorded their first music video, which will be released at their debut concert in Budapest.
The main input for the performances were songs composed with Andyvazul's DIY instrument, the Disharmonica. The lyrics of most of the songs are poems by Hungarian poet János Pilinszky, presented in a way reminiscent of the music of Nick Cave or the Bauhaus band.
In a word, OFF THE VØID invites the audience to a pleasant end-of-the-world séance interpreted by exciting instruments and musicians.
