Returning to the Trafó Great Hall on 23 and 24 September is an artist whose entire oeuvre proves that it is not only possible to break out of the institutionalised boundaries of a professional career - it is also possible to escape them altogether. Márta Ladjánszki is an inescapable innovator of Hungarian contemporary dance, who owes neither her studies nor her professional career to the backing of institutions, and to this day refers to herself as an outsider. Her body-analytical pieces, which build on the boundaries of the physical, are often literally form-breaking: a jubilee selection of these will be on show at Trafó this autumn.
