Nemzeti Vágta 2024 Szilvásvárad
On 4-5-6 October 2024, the 17th National Parade will be held in the Lipica Equestrian Centre in Szilvasvárad, preceded by 16 preliminary rounds in the countryside and beyond the borders from May to August.
The National Riding Festival is a unique equestrian event which is a cultural, tourist, gastronomic, historical and local festival based on Hungarian traditions.

In 024, there will be several changes that will make the competitions even more exciting. For the first time this year, there will be two groups of competitors in the youth field: 10-14 year olds can compete in the Hussar Kids' Race and 14-18 year olds in the Little Hussar Race. In the Silvásvárad final, sixteen Hussars and twenty-four Little Hussars will have the opportunity to ride.
This year, more children and young people will be able to compete in the races. Previously, the 10-16 age group could compete, and now 17-18 year olds will be able to compete.
This year's programme will also include a Hussar Race, a carriage race, an international race and various shows. The Lipizzaner horses will play a leading role: there will be a stallion driving competition and the international race will be contested on Lipizzaner horses. It is planned to organise the star race, as well as the "Ride, Jump and Drive" dressage and carriage pairs competitions, and the "Ride, Jump and Drive" horse-drawn carriage race.
