Via Negativa is the attitude that play is the inalienable nature of human beings, and that basically every human being is capable of existing as a community, of creatively connecting with others, but represses it.
In exercises inspired by Polish theatre masters, we also remove the underlying psychological resistance by exploring and unblocking our physical blocks to create 'spontaneous' improvisations of space by aligning our movement, sound and imagination.
The aim of the workshop is to explore this experience of community that emerges from 'spontaneity', through which we can rediscover the roots of human connection, and to explore 'spontaneity' itself, which can put our relationship with nature and each other on a new footing.
