Sextet with stars
Kirill Troussov will again come to the Hungarian House of Music with his most distinguished musician friends. They will perform two chamber works of unusual apparatus. The violinist said: "When we go on stage, we are also celebrating the fact that we are meeting and making music together in one part of the world. Chamber music is one of the most important aspects of classical music for me, because it brings together not only the audience in the concert hall, but also the artists on stage. It's a win-win situation, everyone benefits."

The piano often takes a leading role in works by Mendelssohn and Glinka, in which the violin, viola, cello and double bass bring out the full height and depth of the string sound. String quartet, double bass and piano - that's the apparatus of Glinka's sextet, but Mendelssohn has taken the work a shade darker by using two violas. Glinka's drifting piece was heavily inspired by the composer's travels in Italy, and it's easy to discover in it characters from romantic operas. And Mendelssohn's sextet proves that he was undoubtedly one of classical music's most brilliant talents: he was barely fifteen when he completed the piece. It has the close influence of Haydn and Mozart, but also the composer's brilliant individual voice, which, as Kirill Troussovot says, 'always brings happiness'.
