Ramazuri - The magic of early music
People used to listen to different music. I mean really long ago, say three hundred years ago. Everything was different then! There were no musical instruments, so people heard instruments much less often. It was a really special occasion to listen to music! Of course, a lot has changed since then: not only the way of listening to music, but also the instruments, the way of performing and the role of music. On our extraordinary Ramazuri, we attempt to take you back to those extraordinary times. To make this a success, we have teamed up with Hungary's greatest early music institution, the Haydneum, who are not only lovers of this music, but know exactly how to make it authentic and what is worth showing. And in keeping with our highly successful RAMAZURI series, you can learn about the customs, instruments and music of the period through games and activities in different parts of the building. And if you visit more than one site, you may not only be enriched with a small gift, but also with a love of the music of yesteryear!
