And then, those in the know will know that African-American folk music gave rise to the blues, which gave rise to jazz, which gave rise to R&B, which gave rise to rock'n'roll, which gave rise to pop and rock, which gave rise to metal and... gee, where are we now? And of course there's classical music (which doesn't have to be serious music at all)!

So, it's not easy to answer the question of what kind of music there is, nor do we promise to list all the styles - all the toes and fingers and maybe even hairs of the audience wouldn't be enough - but we do promise to at least look at what the biggest genres are and what their characteristics are, with a special focus on popular music.

So, on this edition of Hangado Junior's fun family show, we're going to take on this big task, and we hope it will be a lot of laughs! Feri Tarr, the House of Music's concert teacher, will once again be the host of the show, and the band Lóci spielt will be your guests, famous not only for their humour but also for their wide-ranging musical knowledge! Of course, we will also have our permanent columns to help you this time: the funny music history, the music together and the music analysis tournament.

We hope that thanks to all this, each child will go home not only with a (good) experience, but also with a love of music!
