How can music and theatre be for everyone?
The Opera Inauguration series is about how the fusion of these two fields, opera, can be understood and enjoyed by everyone. This series of talks and concerts, which dissects the greatest operas in a humorous and accessible way, will continue in the 2024/25 season with an analysis of Mozart's Magic Flute at the Hungarian House of Music. During the performances, Dániel Dinyés, the mastermind behind the idea, will introduce the audience to the mysteries of the music, while director Pál Göttinger will give an insight into the operatic rehearsal process. The pair's stand-up makes the work and the genre understandable and makes everyone laugh with their entertaining analysis and improvisation of an opera.

In addition to the duo's unique and unrepeatable introductions, this year's audience will of course be able to meet internationally renowned opera singers as well as artists at an early stage of their careers. For ten years, Delta Productions ' extraordinary series has been proving its worth to a packed house and making opera a genre for all to enjoy. The aim is to offer a unique experience for the theatre-lover, the opera-lover, the opera-enthusiast and the fun-lover. Why Mozart again and why The Magic Flute?
"Being simple is one of the hardest things in the world. For Mozart, it's like reading. As our main ambition is to learn by laughing, or to make it easy to understand, there is no more perfect choice than Mozart. In fact, of all the great Mozart operas, only the Magic Flute has so far been left out. There are so many characters, perhaps that's why we've put it off, even though it's his most popular and famous opera. Usually there are never more than two or three singers on stage at an opera opening. Here, however, there are at least four singers in a single scene, so - to give you a behind-the-scenes secret straight away - we are in for a coordination nightmare. -Dániel Dinyés laughs and adds. That's how I always think of the Opera House Gala. It's a meaningful, quality time. That's what I expect for the 2024/25 season." There's nothing to fear, you just have to come.
