Lamine Siskora - Kora sessions
Lamine Siskora "Griot" was born into a large family of early instrument players in Senegal. This instrument is a heritage that is passed down from father to son. Lamine belongs to the forty-second generation! Many "griot" play 21 or 22 string kora on this special long-handled harp.

Schedule
In Africa, the griot is the ambassador of traditional African society.
The role of those born into a "griot" family is traditionally to preserve the historical accounts and oral traditions of their people. In their culture, they are the storytellers, the voices of kings and are known as the "Age of Dialy". They also served as advisors and diplomats. They have also played an artistic role over the centuries.
You can contribute to the evening with a donation of 2000 Ft. Culture is always a common cause.
