Advent chestnut baking and Christmas market 2024 Gyenesdia
On 14-15 December 2024, an Advent chestnut baking and Christmas market will be held in Gyenesdiás.
In 2024, Gyenesdiás will host another popular traditional family Advent event.

Once again the Gyenesdiás Tourist Association is waiting for the guests to get in the mood for Christmas with a cosy Advent market.
During the two days, the smell of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine will waft around the square in front of the Gyenesdiás Community Hall.

14 December.
16:00 Opening ceremony, welcoming of guests and cutting of the festive chestnut cake
16:00-18:00 Advent gingerbread baking and decorating in the Shepherd's House by the Folk Crafts Workshop
16:00-19:00 Magic Sounds Playhouse in the main hall of the Municipal Hall with creative corners and board games for children and adults
17:00-17:45 Christmas children's party with Barnabás Belényesi (Elf Songs) and Toni Bala
18:00 Christmas beauty contest
18:30 Advent candle lighting at the Bethlehem
19:00 Raffle draw with valuable prizes and surprises

15:00 Cake baking competition, cake tasting, judging of the home-made cakes
15:30 Free market: fair of delicious Christmas cakes

Both days will be filled with fragrant roasted chestnuts, spicy mulled wine, frothy hot chocolate, crispy roasted sausages and delicious cakes, and on Sunday, festive chowder will evoke the spirit and flavours of Advent. This year, it's still possible to enjoy
