We treat participants to a mug of hot beverages during the December workshops at the Benedictine House of Flowers.
Luca Day is associated with many beliefs and customs. It is also a famous date as a day to stop doing things. Therefore, there will be no sewing this afternoon, but there will be plenty of activities to try out as the workshop leaders introduce us to the secrets of Luca making, Luca cakes and divination.

What we are preparing:
- Planting Luca-wheat
- Decorating gingerbread with icing
- making angel shapes from chenille thread
- Christmas tree ornament (napkin technique for decorating a wooden plaque)
- making a postcard decorated with an angel
- making a pine tree and an angel by folding
- poinsettias with folding
Participation is recommended from the age of 4.
