Dresch Quartet

Mihály Dresch, its founder and one of the genre-creating wind musicians of Hungarian ethno-jazz, has been an inescapable figure in Hungarian music since the 1980s. He has been awarded the Kossuth Prize for his work. His orchestra has consistently and confidently followed its own path, marked by an individual blend of Hungarian folk music and African-American jazz, developed by the leader and the members of the orchestra.
