Singer-guitarist-songwriter Noémi Barkóczi burst onto the scene in the early 2010s, her unique sound creating a universe of its own already at the time of her first album (Nem vagyok hier, 2017).Breaking years of silence, she replaced the acoustic guitar with an electric one on her 2021 album Dolgom volt (I Had a Job) and experimented with newer, more scratchy sounds. The album received a Fonogram nomination and was named one of the big albums of the year by several national media.

Since then, his band, which includes Kristóf Gulyás (mius), Márton Bognár (Kamikaze Scotsmen) and, from autumn 2024, Panka Szczuka (Flanger Kids), has toured Hungarian clubs and festivals, and now it's clear that the band's music works just as well in front of thousands of people in Budapest Park as it does in the basement of a country club. Noémi has appeared as a lyricist on Dalfutár, contributed to Vera Jónás's album and the Kaláka tribute album, sang at The Qualitons' memorial evening for Iván Szenes at Müpa, and several of her songs have appeared in Hungarian films.

The events, changes and moments of the past period inspired new songs, which have been compiled into a third album, which Noémi Barkóczi and her band will present to the audience for the first time on the stage of the Hungarian House of Music.
