No matter if we wear a feather or a hat.

No matter where we once were or where we were not,

We're all Indians in there.

Schedule

"The gamekeeper is one of the few people who still have his own stories. About grasses, flowers, trees, forests and the wild animals of the forests, which the pushing man forces into ever tighter spaces. The gamekeeper conveys the experience, knowledge and love of nature of four generations, trying to persuade those who approach him with quietly wise words to look after the forest, because it needs looking after, and if they destroy it, they are acting against themselves, to let the wildlife live their own lives, to preserve the order that nature has established, which gives each its own means of existence. Oliver Sándor Murányi did not associate himself with the gamekeeper to ask him about his stories, or to accompany him on his forest scouting expeditions, or to help him care for the animals, but to show by his example that harmony between man and nature can be preserved."

István Fried

The author's interlocutors are Dr. István Fried, literary historian, writer László Márton and the book's protagonist, Ágoston Pál, a ranger. The event is hosted by László Finta. The book will be available for sale at a discounted price and will be signed by the author. Everyone is welcome.

Entrance is free of charge (but all support is welcome).

Location

Nyitott Műhely

The Open Workshop is a fine place, a place where many different kinds of people can feel at home, which is to say that there is something that is rare and difficult to create, the spirit of the place. This spirit is very sympathetic to me, because it means both that there are shows that interest me and that the occasional stew is okay. And that I'm likely to meet people there who I'm happy to meet, and it's not even out of the question that they're me. Such public (open) spaces are rare in Budapest.
