Seksendört (TR)
Seksendört is a Turkish rock band formed in 1999. They started getting noticed after their demo recordings were shared on internet and hit the charts as “the most downloaded songs”. They are the first band in Turkey whose songs became known via internet. When they released their first album “Seksendört” in 2005 they were introduced as the “Internet legend” in the media.
Schedule
Their unique sound which includes Anatolian tunes into rock music was highly admired by the Turkic audience. Some of their popular songs are “Ölürüm Hasretinle”, “Kendime Yalan Söyledim” and “Anlayamazsın”.
Today their videos’ total view on YouTube reaches over 1 billion and they have around 2 million of Spotify listeners.
Budapest is a special city for Seksendört. In 2015 band visited the city to record their new album. They also shot their video clips “Hangimiz” and “Yara” in Budapest.
After a long break, Seksendört is back to the stage and started their Turkey and Europe Tour at the end of 2022. We are lucky to have them in Budapest as part of their tour.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
