ZLATKO (live)

Zlatko Baracskai's solo concert is based on unusual electronic sounds created with a modular synthesizer. Thanks to nonlinear feedbacks, chaotic phenomena occur, creating unexpected musical forms that evoke the aesthetics of a machine malfunction. The resulting autonomous sound machine is manageable, but not easy to control. The relationship between the machine and the artist has previously been described as a tsunami surf or even a chess game.

PREDSKOKAN OTROK - STAVOPROJEKT (SK) (live)

Predskokan otrok is Miroslav Tóth's experimental electronic music project, a live performance created by mixing IDM, techno, glitch, drone ambient and various forms of generative music. The project is part of a social experiment that Tóth hopes will appeal to younger audiences attending techno parties. It raises the question of the difference between a front band and a slave. The composer is currently working on his third album, Stavoprojekt, in collaboration with graphic designer and architect-theorist Lucia Mlynčeková. Lucia's research in the archives of Czechoslovak architecture inspired the album. The architectural designs inspired the visual material (mapping) for the concert, as well as the music itself. The audiovisual composition is their first artistic collaboration.
