In its twenty-year history, Müpa Budapest has hosted three times the great figure of historical early music performance, Jordi Savall. The first performance of the Catalan viola da gamba player and conductor took place in 2005, the year of the opening. He has performed a wide range of music, and his instrumental and vocal ensembles Le Concert des Nations and La Capella Nacional de Catalunya are now conducting a new, expanded version of Mozart's unfinished Mass in C minor, with the participation of such outstanding vocal soloists as Giulia Bolcato, Elionor Martínez, Lara Morger, David Fischer and Matthias Winckhler.
