"In 2022, I did a deep dive into what skateboard graphics had been about for twenty years; ink drawings, comic book-like things, sketchboard art, 3D graphics. This exhibition is an imprint of that selection."

Attila Jáger takes the visitor into a strange fantasy world. The protagonist of his graphics is an ordinary-looking human figure whose real face is rarely revealed - most of the time he hides his true emotions behind a smiling paper bag. The protagonist's constant accessory, one could say attribute, is his irreplaceable skateboard, with which he gets into strange adventures. In the midst of the skateboarding moves and tricks, the scene is often ominous. These moments of peril take the form of various monsters in the artist's alternate universe - as if the figure of St George battling the dragon were coming to life in an unusual, underground form.
