Dialogue of opposites: Boulez 100 x Schoenberg 150
One hundred years is binding. On the occasion of the upcoming anniversary of Pierre Boulez's birth in 1925, two rarely heard, emblematic works by the composer will be performed together with a masterpiece by Arnold Schoenberg, never before heard by Hungarian performers.

Schedule
The evocation on the same evening of these two defining and exceptionally influential composers of twentieth-century music is an unmissable musical and spiritual treat. The relationship between the two composers is a rich source of discussion and reflection: they never met in person, yet their names are linked to one of the great musical conflicts of the century.
The soloists of the Metrum Ensemble, renowned for their extraordinary performances, will perform the works, while music historian Gergely Fazekas will illuminate the background with sound, image and words. The artistic directors of the ensemble, Anna Rákóczy and Lajos Rozmán, play together with brave young artists in this extraordinary challenge.
