ZSÓFIA FARKAS - "A MOMENT THAT HANGS OUT OF TIME"

"Just as the abstract world of forms in sculpture informs us of the contents of mythical worlds that have passed away, of the eternal Order rooted in the spiritual world, so in music there is a world that is pre-linguistic, pre-ideal, directly connected to the spiritual.

Both music and abstract sculpture convey this reality, which can be grasped and experienced directly from the supersensory world, from the primordial source, the reality of which the created universe is made up, which is what we are in fact and above all, stripped of the layer of matter, the layer of reason, the layer of emotion.

Here and now, in 2025, in the middle of Europe, in the middle of the 3rd world war, which is taking place in the spiritual world, we are speaking, through the medium of glass sculpture and music, the vivid, ancient language that reaches beyond fear and lies, from man to man, lighting up the darkness of the soul.

For me, glass sculpture is also a kind of music: a direct connection with the supernatural world, born of the joy of life. It is my source of joy, but my work is different: to serve, to help and to give where and what I can. Apart from these two things, I am not really interested in much else anymore." Zsófia Farkas

The title of the exhibition is taken from the poem "Eternal Moment" by Sándor Weöres.
