A38 Ship anchored twenty years ago as the focal point of Budapest's cultural life. We celebrate this twenty years with twenty nights. Concerts, parties and You! So everyone we can thank for all these years. Celebrate with us in April and May at A38's birthday bash!

On this night we will have Hiroko Yamamura playing for the very first time in Hungary. Currently calling labels such as Trax Records, Impact Mechanics, Slap Jaxx and Klectik as home, she just recently returned from a long hiatus from music. As a midwest rave staple, Hiroko has toured the globe spreading the sounds of Chicago including gigs at the famed Detroit Movement Festival as well as regular Berlin and Ibiza shows. She actively contributes jacking Chicago techno with an edge all its own, along with her like-minded colleagues and collaborators including Heartthrob, Seth Troxler, Hyperactive, Angel Alanis, Kate Simko and the Submerge. A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
