In the seventh part of the series, the students of the Bartók Konzi will play again - Gergő Kováts' course has put together four projects, so there will be four separate concerts this evening!

Project A invites listeners on an exciting musical journey, combining the drifting momentum of intelligent dance music with pulsating grooves. The energetic performances of the large band are guaranteed to captivate as they weave together exciting rhythms, captivating melodies and unique textures. The formation brings two of Barnabás Beke's own compositions to life in a unique instrumentation, creating a unique, uplifting and liberating musical experience.

Project B is an improvisation-oriented formation that combines elements of modal and modern jazz with its own musical vision. The main focus of the band is spontaneity and musical communication, each performance aims to create a unique and unrepeatable experience. The creative expression and constant interaction of the members make their concerts special, where the music is guided by the freedom of jazz and the ever-fluctuating mutual inspiration.

The C project creates a gently floating, dreamlike soundscape, born from the meeting of soft melodies and exciting rhythmic elements. Their music creates a unique atmosphere that is both calming and pulsating, seductive and surprising. They have shaped well-known songs to their own taste, making them sound even more exciting and fresh.

The D project draws inspiration from the vibrant, vibrant music of the Southern Hemisphere, which is brought to life in a jazz guise with passionate performances and unique instrumentation.

Their programme includes Mihály Csányi's bossa nova Helyetted. Originally published in minimalist form, the work is enriched with wind and string orchestration, giving it an even grander and more emotional sound. In the second half of the programme, the legendary Miles Davis' Nardis is given a new and exciting twist, with the pulsating energy of Afrobeat, reminiscent of Fela Kuti's work, giving the song a fresh and dynamic interpretation.

The concert is free of charge for the students of the participating schools, for the interested audience the ticket is 2000 HUF, which is a support for the realization of our programme series.
