We are all animals too, but most of us have learned to forget that. On 15 March, mammals, birds and who knows what other creatures will dance to the blues, rock and darkwave in the basement of Aurora. But it will be beautiful, because what's true is always beautiful.

/////// Medve ////////

Medve, or Gary Vass in real life, is a songwriter with Hungarian roots currently living in Toronto, who by his own admission, in his heart of hearts, longs to return to Hungary every day. What we really feel and see from this is that he really does relocate himself here for longer or shorter periods of time as often as he can. He also has a project in Canada called Newfound Interest in Connecticut.

The current solo line-up - using the simplest and most comprehensive genre reference - is, let's say, based on rock, but this time some electronica is added and definitely present throughout.

//////// Maze Kalauz Márton ////////

Maze-Kalauz Márton is a blues guitarist from Budapest, Hungary, who pens lamenting, frustrated lyrics to make them sound like more than just whining. Sometimes he just picks, and sometimes - depending on his resources and the circumstances - he plays with others. Together with his regular writing partner, Bertalan Galván, he edits the existentialist online platform Budapest Spencer.

//////// Blind Birds ////////

Blind Birds is a dark wave trio from Budapest, formed in 2018. Our music is characterised by acidic electronic foundations, obsessive dreamy guitar riffs and lyric-centric song structures. Our songs are built in a long creative process, the result of several rural retreats, our upcoming single Red Sky.
