INVERSEDANCE | Fodor Zoltán Társulat - Tíz kicsi bűnjel bemutató / Ten Little Signs of Sin premiere
2025-03-28T18:00:00.000Z
Our latest production is inspired by the best-selling novel by world-famous author Agatha Christie - Ten Little Niggers (now titled: And There There Were None), which explores the concept of sin as a moral dilemma, framed around ten symbolic signs of it.
In the original work, a series of perfectly planned and executed crimes, take place. The protagonists—both perpetrators and victims—are ordinary people who, whether knowingly or unknowingly, have committed a kind of crime that have gone either unpunished or unresolved.
As we delve into the novel, a pressing question emerges: who is truly at fault, and who is the true victim? How many crimes—affecting us, our surroundings, or even humanity as a whole—take place right before our eyes? We witness the signs of sin, but in vain, we either fail to act or choose not to, while the guilty remain unnoticed, carrying on with their lives.
In this surreal new production, individual destinies unfold, urging us to reflect: are we victims or sinners, and, if so, can we can do anything about each other if we are recognized or we have been recognized?
