Kobuci Ska Fest
🏁 Here comes the usual summer ska festival at Kobuci! Come and lift your flip-flops on Óbuda’s oceanfront! Performing will be one of the oldest ska bands in Hungary, Kabinet Rt. from Miskolc (founded in 1981), the fusion ska-playing Skafunderz from Debrecen, and of course, Super Starsky, bringing a hit-filled set to get everyone dancing!

Super Starsky was formed in 2011 by members of six different bands with the goal of transforming the biggest Hungarian and international hits into ska style, all while blending it with a touch of Czechoslovak nostalgia, bringing back the vibes of old dance festivals and variety shows. Even Bobby McFerrin will be dancing on a hard day's night in front of a painted black door!

The Skafunderz band have been blustering the stages till 14 years from the small clubs to the largest festivals. They play SKA music basically but fill it with Punk and Reggae stuff. The band will bring you huge energy coming down towards the audience: that's the genuine Skafunderz feeling! Move your feet!

Party, party! Kabinet Rt. (Kabinet Condolence Register Trust) was founded on September 30, 1981, in Hungary’s "City of Rock and Steel," Miskolc. Gaining nationwide popularity with their unique takes on two-tone (2nd wave) British ska band classics (Bad Manners, Madness, The Specials, The Selecter) alongside their own original hits, they bring a brass-driven, vocal-heavy ska sound. Their performances are energetic, humorous, and packed with BeatSka vibes. A true ska legend—full of youth and energy, they could easily shave 40 years off their age!
