The charm of the underground is that you yourself are surprised by the treasures that come out of the ground one night. The fact is, we're in for some serious ore-rock glitter on 11 April, and it would be a shame to miss it.

Schedule

✷ Alva ✷

The songs of this group of experienced musicians are like mixing early Soundgarden with the raw sound of Tool, adding some bluesy gloom and a bit of doom metal. Sound good? Just as good!

Márk Csiaki - vocals | Attila Szabó - guitar | Tamás Urbán - bass guitar | János Markó - drums | Zoltán Makács - guitar

✷ Verner ✷

"...An orchestra is the best expression of the harmony between machines and humans," say the crew of the transport ship Verner.Even androids, if they can make music, can feel something beyond their programming, beyond their artificial world..."

"On board a ship, everyone is looking for something: a new life, a new death, or simply a new chance to continue to exist in this morally degenerate world. For us, music, like space, is just a means to subvert everything we hold dear as the values of humanity."

✷ Raksha Bandhan ✷

Raksha Bandhan - instinctive metallic doom, hardcore and stoner elements from the Budapest-Százhalombatta zone.

The music, performed with English lyrics, combines sounds and influences from the 1990s (grunge, stoner, doom, hardcore styles) and today. Bands such as Corrosion Of Conformity, Black Sabbath, Down, Alice In Chains and Biohazard are primary inspirations. The band's name is Raksha Bandhan, a Hindu festival of brotherly love: however, "brotherhood" has a more universal, rather than religious, connotation. The band's 9-track debut album "Meet Your God On A Dirty Bus" was released in spring 2021 by H-Music Publishing in Budapest, and several official music videos were produced. The band, which has recently undergone a number of member changes, is currently writing its second album, which is scheduled for release in the second half of 2025.
