Every fan, but also every artist, composer, performer, can name countless songs, records, bands that are really important to them for some reason. Whether it's because of an important memory, the first album they ever came across, or a special cover. For musicians and composers, of course, it is typical that a song or an album has had an impact on them that has set them on that path. VOLT FILM asked 50 local artists to tell us which album means the most to them.
In the first season of the My Album series, 20 Hungarian musicians talked about the albums that really mattered to them, and now at SopronFest we're featuring more than 30 of our favourite artists in artistic photos, while on YouTube they talk about their albums on the My Album channel.
The short films produced as part of the project can be viewed on YouTube.
Pélter Kálló created artistic portraits for My Album, which will be presented at the exhibition.
