Schedule

Literature therapy self-awareness sessions start at Aurora every Tuesday from 17.00 to 18.30.

The fifth session is on the theme of trust.

Participation in the event is free of charge, but requires pre-registration, so please send a message to the email address in the event until the day before the event.

What is literary therapy?

Literature therapy is a sociotherapy and art therapy method, which is used to help the personality to develop, differentiate and dynamize social relationships. This therapeutic method uses literary texts to promote self-awareness and personal development.

What does such a conversation look like? After reading a pre-selected text and sharing thoughts on the work, we discuss our own experiences and feelings related to the topic. Through the texts (poem, short story, novel, song lyrics or our own writing) we will talk about ourselves.

The aim of the sessions is not to analyse literary works, nor to recall what we have learnt in Hungarian lessons. The aim of the sessions is to talk about the texts in order to understand ourselves through their impact on us.

For whom are we suggesting it?

The sessions are open to anyone, regardless of age or gender.

Joining is ongoing and free from any session.
