"My psychiatrist put it to me that I broke a mirror as a child, which I interpret as my personality, and I remedy different situations by looking into different pieces of mirror. The big goal is to bring these mirror pieces closer and closer together. But they won't fuse together anymore." (Izabella Mazzag)

Borderline Personality Disorder is one of the great psychological enigmas of our time; we hear more and more about it, but its true nature remains to be deciphered, both from the professional and the wider society.

What exactly is a borderline? How do borderline people live their daily lives? How can a young artist use borderline in their art?

In this April preview of Psynapse, we will explore these questions from a very unique perspective, with a short film by the young borderline filmmaker Izabella Mazzag Falcon, which takes us on a (tour) of the world of borderline people.

After the screening with Izabella and our invited experts,

György Zsolt Rubovszky, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist

Annamária Tari, psychoanalyst, psychotherapist

and Prof. Zsolt Unoka psychiatrist, psychotherapist

Péter Klock-Balog, radio and TV presenter, second-year film directing student at the SZFE.
