Black Sea Dahu
Black Sea Dahu is a Swiss band that combines elements of indie folk, chamber pop, and art rock, while transcending genre boundaries with heartfelt music that is raw, tender, and cinematic. The band is led by Swiss singer-songwriter Janine Cathrein, who has created a unique world with her companions, part musical collective, part family, which is fully committed to emotional sincerity.
Black Sea Dahu is coming to Zene Ház for its first concert in Hungary with its latest album, Everything, promising its most sincere and powerful live performance to date.

Schedule
On stage, the five-member Black Sea Dahu, made up of cousins and friends, acts like a magnet – their performances are sold out across Europe, and they transform concert halls into spaces of collective liberation. They have played with numerous artists, from José González to Agnes Obel, and their music has been compared to many of their fellow musicians, from Big Thief to Radiohead, but they have their own world, which is most powerful when performed live. With their latest album, Everything, the band digs deeper than ever before – not by changing their music, but by revealing even more of what has always been there: grief, hope, reckoning, and the fragile beauty of carrying it all at once. "The new songs were shaped by personal loss and the burden of a changing world, yet they speak with resilience and rare clarity. These songs are not meant to impress – they are meant to connect, to help us survive, and to remind us that we are not alone." In this age of noise, Black Sea Dahu offers something rare: quiet truth, deeply felt emotions.
