Schedule
The sunny guitar music of Naked Diplomats draws from both the beat music of the sixties and the alternative music tradition of the nineties. Their lively lyrics in Hungarian are moody images of nude beaching, grandma-scented sofas and Danish heaven.
The five-piece band has worked with professionals such as Ambrus Tövisházi, Zsolt Prieger, Gyuri Ligeti and Ákos Dióssy D. on their albums to date. From the smallest to the biggest Hungarian clubs and festivals (Sziget, Fishing on Orfű, Művészetek Völgye, Bánkitó etc.) they represented Hungary as a winning band at the International Youth Music Expo in Cyprus.
Over the years, they have participated in several successful national tours as support acts for Kiscsillag, PUF, HS7, Péterfy Bori & Love Band, Intim Torna Illegal, Kelemen Kabátban and Magashegyi Underground.
Turn Signals is an indie rock band from Budapest, formed in 2015. Their musical world is influenced by British guitar music, building in particular on the style of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Oasis. Their first full-length album, Duck And Cover, was released in 2017 to positive reviews and confirmed the band's place on the Hungarian scene.
The band is composed of Ádám Iliás (vocals, bass), Arshak Szenkovits (guitar) and Tamás Révész (drums). Turn Signals' music is constantly updated, while maintaining its commitment to British guitar music.
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
