Schedule

The Szárazárok stage of the Várkert Bazár, will be portraying the journey of seven dancers who are preforming together the choreography Miracle by Réka Oberfrank.

The emphasis will be on exploring bodies and their limbs, examining their relationships to each other and observing the resulting movement forms and relationships. What happens when bodies are seen not as separate individuals, but as a common, living mass? How does this organism gradually transform as the limbs interact and the movements take on increasingly complex meanings?

Throughout the piece, the bodies slowly shed their fluid forms and take on their own character while begining to inhabit the space as individuals. Réka Oberfrank's choreography is the result of a sensitive and profound physical research, which not only pushes the boundaries of the relationship between bodies, but also the boundaries of individual and communal existence. She gently guides the viewer through this inner journey, opening up new perceptual spaces.

Miracle is the third phase of Réka Oberfrank's long-term creative work. Previous pieces like - Dear 21st Century! and Zoom - have already begun to explore the details of bodies, their forms of movement and emotional charge in different ways.
