Schedule

Ambient, urban folk music, psychedelic ethno, nineties process music, action music.

According to the press:

Early Joy combines the sounds of many peoples and many galaxies in their music, music of indescribable richness, but guaranteed digestibility. The voodoo of the music and the mesmerizing visuality create a state of consciousness that could be achieved by drinking a mixture of ibogaine and sligovica in a mud bath. (László Najmányi)

Their ability to blend psychedelic guitar-based rock with Eastern European influences and shamanic traditions is unparalleled. The rich blend of ingredients includes tribal percussion, pagan flutes, shamanistic trance rock, explosive guitar solos, ambient sound patterns harmonized with bizarre Hungarian vocals... KÖ's music is irresistible, imaginative and at the same time humane, natural, mind-expanding... you have to see it live!.... constantly flying on a magic carpet over wonderful panoramas - Balkan, Arabic and Asian landscapes... one of the best psychedelic albums of 1997, mega-recommended!

The band's style, according to us, is perhaps: progressive tribal-trance-ethno.

The band was formed in Budapest in 1990.

In the last 33 years, Korai Öröm has played twice on the main stage of Sziget festival, and almost every year they have performed on the Wan2 stage, and they are a regular at the most prestigious festivals in Hungary (Volt festival, Tokaj Hegyalja festival, EFOTT, Balaton Sound). They are also at home at festivals and clubs abroad, just to look at the last few years: they have played in the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Serbia.
