Jámbor Ármin Quartet (HU/DE/AT/UA)

Ármin Jámbor has already demonstrated his refined musical personality, virtuosity and compositional talent on the Opus stage on several occasions. Since his recent highly successful album launch concert, the young saxophonist has worked tirelessly on new compositions that are lyrical in tone but also full of energy. Urs Hager, a German pianist with an impressive technique, recently toured with Vincent Herring, Philipp Zarfl has been on tour with Ari Hoenig and Seamus Blake for the last six months, and Oleg Markov is one of the most sought-after drummers on the Vienna jazz scene. In November 2024, the band gave an exclusive preview of their new album at the Austrian ORF headquarters, which will be cast in its final studio form after a week-long Austrian-German tour in the autumn.
