The Columbia Hike Society program has launched in Hungary!
The Columbia Hike Society is a community of enthusiastic hikers and nature lovers united by a shared passion for nature and exploration. From time to time, it organizes various hikes with well-known, experienced guides, both domestically and abroad, for shorter or longer distances, and at various levels of difficulty, where you can enjoy exercise, nature, and human interaction.

We have prepared a real adventure tour for you, where all your senses will be needed.
We are waiting for you in Budakeszierdő for an evening tour with headlamps, which is easy to complete even with your family.
Budakeszierdő is the largest contiguous urban forest. During our guided tour, we will tell you about the formation of this green oasis, its wildlife, and its everyday life.
Meeting place: Szépjuhászné parking lot
Meeting time: Saturday, August 30, 2025, 8:45-8:59 p.m.
Departure: 9:00 p.m. SHARP!
Distance: 7.5 km / 225 m+

- fully charged headlamp
- charged mobile phone turned on

- something to drink, some snacks
Szépjuhászné Büfé-Étterem
A pleasant forest buffet at Szépjuhász. It is located near Budakeszi Road, next to the Children's Railway station.
