inuiit.live is a punk who’s gone sophisticated — works with sequencers, has a guitar, vocal cords, and a looper — and the music, for these reasons (and others), sounds like this: raised on dubs, folk songs, rave-adjacent Britpop, Tilos Radio, supermarket playlists, friends’ hard drives, and film scores. So the music is: repetitive like an airier techno track, gritty like Uncle Pali’s dusty vinyl collection, gruffly sensitive like an old, cracked-souled soul crooner, prone to oddities yet wouldn’t hurt a fly — a way of life.
