On July 29 at 7:00 PM, the Dunai Nyitott invites you to a foot-stomping, felted folk evening with one of Manyi’s resident favorites.
Many have wandered through the gentle landscapes along the Szeret River, on the way to Klézse or Rekecsin, in search of the spirit of Tindia. But it was only after much searching that six young musicians living in Budapest found it — not in Moldova, nor by the waters of the Tatros, but deep within themselves.
Tindia, the band, began their journey in 2015 in a beloved Budapest bar, where they hosted regular Moldavian folk dance nights and folk pub sessions. Their music is defined by the mystique of restrained femininity and the driving pulse of Moldavian melodies — an energy captured in their debut album (2021) and fully bloomed in their second LP, Áradás(2023).
