Anouar Braheme has always been attracted to jazz and has recorded with well-known jazz musicians such as Jan Garbarek (saxophone) and Ustad Shaukat Hussain (tabla), as well as Dave Holland and John Surman. These collaborations were a great success with both audiences and critics.
