Richard Bona is a Grammy Award-winning musician, one of the world's most distinguished bassists, composers and multi-instrumentalists, with a unique vocal style. Bona's music explores the traditions, culture, beauty and problems of Africa. The way he connects with his audiences has made him one of the leading names in world music, jazz and afropop.
The list of those Richard Bona has toured and recorded with is long, some of them being Herbie Hancock, Harry Belafonte, Steps Ahead, Quincy Jones, Chick Corea, Buena Vista Social Club, Cesária Évora, Sting, Mike Stern, Pat Metheny, Stevie Wonder, Bobby McFerrin, Chucho Valdés, George Benson and many others.
He returns to Budapest with his latest formation.
Erkel Theatre
Az Erkel Színház, Népopera néven 1911. december 7-én nyitotta meg kapuit. A többször is átalakított épület 1951 és 2007, valamint 2013 óta a Magyar Állami Operaház második játszóhelyeként funkcionál. Megnyitása óta az ország legnagyobb nézőterével büszkélkedhet, jelenleg 1819 ülőhellyel várja a közönséget.
