Lovász Irén
Irén Lovász, Kossuth Prize-winning worthy artist, versatile creative performer. He started as a folk singer, with his 1995 album World Tree, together with László Hortobágyi, he exploded into the forefront of domestic and international world music, and then made highly successful records with Makám and other world music formations.

His career as a singer is integral to his scientific research and university teaching activities. His folklore research is complemented by his work in religion and music anthropology, as well as sound therapy and acrchaeoacoustics, the essence of which is his four-part series of records entitled Healing Sounds. In the House of Music, he performs his record material and program entitled Flower of Love, published in 2008: contemporary adaptations, transcripts, compositions based on Renaissance poems, dances, contemporary flower songs and folk songs – Kornél Horváth with percussion, István Győr with old plucking instruments Béla Szabó with wood artist and Ágoston
The Flower of Love is high-quality popular music from the Renaissance. The basis of the program is Hungarian love poetry in oral tradition and 16-18. It is given by the surviving gems of the 19th century in manuscript songbooks and codices. Transcripts and adaptations of contemporary „hits ”, popular and now lesser known songs, Balassi poems, and Renaissance instrumental dances are performed.
On the border of art poetry and folk poetry, songs living in popular culture sound in a fun form.
