The BashElán band started in 2022 under the leadership of Zsombor Herédi and talented young musicians from the Hungarian folk music profession. The cooperation of the members of the band can be dated much earlier than its creation, so the spiritual and musical connection between them is both strong.

Since their publication, they have become an integral part of the world music and folk music sphere of the Carpathian Basin. Active participants in dance houses, clubs and summer festivals. Their philosophy of life is joyful music, revelry and the amuse that comes out in direct proportion to it, calling to dance with rhythm. In their music, they combine Hungarian folk music with Balkan rhythms and Transylvanian gypsy music, thus creating a unique musical atmosphere and seasoning it with some improvisation. In their joint work, they were able to work with such famous artists as the Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra, Parno Graszt and the Fitos Dezső Company.

Le rom meaning, gypsies. The band is reworking authentic gypsy music according to today’s trends. His style shows jazz, rock, blues, reggaeton and Balkan gypsy music. The members are all well-known musicians who have already performed in several musical styles and formations. Our main goal is to show that authentic gypsy music can also be in line with today’s trends and stand its ground on big stages, in front of big-name bands. For them, the authentic folk is not confined, the musical freedom gives the opportunity to add the Roma folk to new colors.
