Platon Karataev’s first Hungarian-language material, the 2022 album Partért kiáltó, marked a new chapter for the band:
- according to Artisjus’ summary, it was one of the critics’ favorite albums,
- it was awarded a Fonogram Prize by the music industry,
- and its lyrics even became part of the Hungarian high school graduation exam in literature.
The follow-up arrived this May with the release of Napkötöző, which continues to address the most universal questions in the most personal way.
Just like its predecessor, the album views humanity through the eyes of water, mountains, and forests — but this time, the central element is fire, so the songs revolve around the Sun.
