DEZSŐ x Pikszis Pop Up Party & Designer Fair
Pop up fair, round table discussion, dance and music on 6 September at Pikszis.

Schedule
Browse the funky, unique pieces made from recycled materials by the wonderful Dezső in the early afternoon, and listen to a roundtable discussion on sustainability and the challenges of the fashion world in the late afternoon.
The discussion will be joined by invited local designers with expertise in the field, alongside Dezső brand founder Dominika Dömötör, such as Lilla Séllei (@lillaselleibags) and Laura Staudt (@rucicis).
Before and after the talk, they will heat up the atmosphere with a vinyl only DJ set in the exhibition space of Pikszis, in collaboration with Soul Cure record store.
If that's not enough, the gallery floor will be transformed into a dance floor after the talk. A contemporary dance performance combined with a video disco parade featuring pieces from Dezső's collection will be on show, and the public is invited to join in the fun.
Dezső's super exciting collection will be accompanied by a contemporary art exhibition, specialty coffee, snacks and drink specials in the Pikszis exhibition space, while upstairs, the Fabrika showroom will be open for sustainable design accessories lovers. Pieces from the collection will be available at Pikszis until Sunday 7 September, so come and browse that day too.
Pikszis Culture Point
At Pikszis we collect, consume and display all kinds of art. We have created a multi-functional, cultural community space where everyone is welcome, regardless of their prior level or connection to the arts. Our aim is to make it easier for everyone to explore different art forms by bringing together visual arts, music and more in one institution. Pikszis currently consists of a gallery, a café, a record shop, a vintage store and rooms for different workshops and events. We also have an in-house art school, the Pikszis Analogue Circle, which takes a slightly different approach to teaching people how to create.
