Sauropoda | Boolk

Sauropoda is a Hungarian band, formed in 2019. They’ve been a part of the Budapest underground music scene ever since. It’s hard to categorize their music because it’s a mixture of different styles, genres and musical approaches. They combine elements of jazz, rock, avant-garde and oriental music. The band composes long, story-like songs, with several parts and very quick changes between them. Their music has a certain kind of playful unpredictability due to the different genres, time signatures and complex musical structures. The band uses different tools to evoke a mystical feel in each composition.

Their first record, Pangea was released in April in 2021.
