"Great music is music that transports listeners thinking in the present to the threshold of infinity."

Mose lives in Guatemala, where cacao ceremonies and ecstatic dance have greatly influenced his productions and DJ style. It was here that he established regular cacao dances, where community members have the opportunity to immerse themselves deeply in dance, in a ceremonial vessel, without alcohol.

Schedule

When he is not touring the world or playing at these special events in Guatemala, he devotes his time to longer retreats and silence, so that he can return with a deeper, truer, and more refined sound. Through his record label, Resueño, he also supports other emerging artists with the intention of bringing together resonant souls to create music that uplifts and inspires. The label transcends any single cultural aesthetic, discovering universal vibrations through the interweaving of sounds and languages from around the world. It is also a vehicle for social causes, as 22% of all label revenue is donated to causes around the world that help those most in need.

"I play organic mid-tempo/downtempo music with a steady beat. For me, music is an opportunity to travel into deep space. Whenever I am..." My intention in creating or playing music is to be carried away, to dive into the depths. It's a continuous practice of opening my channels and allowing something more to flow through them. The captivating, steady beat of the drums has taken me to beautiful places within myself time and time again, and my production process mimics that. I always remind myself that if I don't get "high" on the music I make, how can I expect anyone else to? For me, great music is music that opens up these altered states of consciousness without taking any substances.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
