Six years after his Grammy-nominated album LP5, Berlin-based producer, composer, and performer Sascha Ring—better known as APPARAT—is ready to start a new chapter. His new album, "The Hum Of Maybe," and full band tour will kick off in early 2026. The album was created in collaboration with his longtime creative partner Philipp Johann Thimm and continues APPARAT's signature style: modular textures, sophisticated electronics, and powerful vocals.

Schedule

"Maybe is not a weakness, but a space where things can still develop," says Sascha Ring. "Hum is the fundamental sound that carries potential – not a clear yes or no, but the in-between space where life happens." Over the years, APPARAT has captivated audiences at festivals and concert halls around the world with his mesmerizing live performances, including at Sónar, Primavera Sound, and ARTE Concert Palais de la Découverte. His last full band tour took place at the beginning of the pandemic, when live music came to a virtual standstill. His music has also become known worldwide through highly successful film and TV series soundtracks, such as the title track for the Netflix series Dark.

Location

Dürer Garden

Recently moved from its original location, the Dürer is a staple of Budapest's metal scene. But don't be scared, it's worth a visit even if you just want to have a couple of drinks by the Danube. From spring, of course.
