Psybaba Records 25th birthday
It started in 2000 and is still going strong: Psybaba Records will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in October!
...so much has happened in that time...

Schedule
In short, it started with a record store called Budapest for Trance, but there was life before 2000 as well. Kenguru parties at Fáklya, Dunavarsány, Kiscelli Crypt, and Goa Gil parties at Kopaszi Dam. Then came the name change... It became Psybaba Record Store, and the Forever Psychedelic parties on Daroczy Street began, then Olof Palme House, Studio 4, NapHall, Kashmir, K2, Diesel Club, Láng Gépgyár, Kincsem Park, R33...and we could go on and on
Then came 2006 and the period of extensive CD compilations, the record store supplement fell by the wayside, and that's how Psybaba Records came to be!
Four compilation CDs in four years, featuring only Hungarian artists: Venom Sense, TrippyHippies, Irgumburgum, Liquidspoon, Chemichalspoon, Hauntedcastle. We became very popular after the first one... Psybaba parties were born abroad as well. The artists were invited worldwide, we were present at every major festival in some form... not to mention that we organized the 24-hour Goa Gil rituals every year.
Then one day our favorite record store closed, and since then, organizing parties has become our main focus.
For about 15 years now, we have been organizing monthly events at Dürer Kert, and you can also thank us for the faster music nights at Ozorai.
...slowly but surely, we've made it to 2025, and we promise we've still got plenty more in us...
...we're celebrating our 25th anniversary by going back to our roots, with Hungarian artists who are still active today, who have always been by our side and helped us in everything we do...
...we know that we have had and will continue to have foreign guest artists at all our parties, and we don't want to change that...but we have wanted to try this current lineup for a long time, and it seems that now is the right time for the 25th Baba Zsúr...
As you have become accustomed to at our birthday parties in recent years, the Psybaba Stage will be in the large hall, and the GoaHu guys will move into the small hall, as they have been at almost all of our birthdays so far.
The Public Beta team will be responsible for the psychedelic visuals, of course. They have been with us since the beginning, and we have been supporting each other for years.
So mark your calendars: October 11, Psybaba Records 25!

Dürer Kert
Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
