Halloween in the Zoo

On Friday, October 31, the World Animals Lantern Festival will be complemented by Halloween programs for one terrifyingly exciting evening. Terrifying animals, blood-curdling tests of courage, chilling fire performances, and dazzling lanterns at the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden. Admission is with Lantern Festival tickets, which allow you to participate in the programs during the zoo's evening opening hours from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

We have a terrifyingly exciting evening in store for you: you can watch amazing outdoor fire juggling shows, hold creepy-crawlies and arthropods in your hands at our thrilling Halloween animal shows, touch animal bones, and test your courage! A ghost hunt awaits you along the outer walkways of the Biodome, while inside the Biodome you can enjoy educational presentations. If you want even more, our hundred-year-old Banyas will tell your fortune, but be careful what you wish for, it might come true!
